Hey all,

A buddy of mine is getting hitched in a couple of months and as a fellow piper, i want to bring some tobacco to the bachelor party as a gift for him. As this will be an outdoors celebration, we will be smoking plenty at the tail end of a Tennessee winter. So here’s where I need help- He’s a big fan of KDF blends, of which I know little of (myself being more of an English/VaPer smoker) and I’d like to bring a tin or two.. or three of unique blends that would be up his alley. He likes that campfire/bbq flavor. I don’t mind looking for unicorns or hard to get tins as this is a special occasion and my budget is probably ~$50. So you big burley smokers out there, what do you recommend?
I'd say one of the burly flakes #5 specifically. Honestly it's like an English but with dark fired instead of latakia. I jokingly call it an American English :)/. Oh and it's super tasty too.

If you are going to share with your guest of honor, something that might make you both happy is Russ O.'s blend Fire Storm, which is a Va./Per with dark-fired, blended with a precision and artfulness that would make most any pipe smoker smile. I'm an adamant burley smoker, but love Fire Storm.

Shame the strippers didn't put in an appearance as they might have found an exotic use for those cobs.
Now I'm not saying they could've smoked them using their pom fru-fru's, I'm not saying that! All I am saying is I've heard some of them can fire ping-pong balls etc. so anything is possible.
