I ordered from McCranies; Old Master (Bur/Va/deertongue), Brandywine ( an American Burley-English wanna be with Bur/Turk/Orie/Lat, no VA) & Bishop Burley (some oriental/VA). All contain mostly ribbon burley. Old Master clearly has some deertongue, is smooth, gentle with the herb (vanilla) in the background. Very civilized all of them. 'W' from Peretti is supposed to be their B flat entry level burley blend according to their descriptor and TR reviews. Tree bark, essence of roof tile to me. Ouch! Reading TR reviews, even trying to parse the reviewers, is often futile. I know our taste buds change and we have highly ideosyncratic flavor profiles. Well, at least I like the McCranies line up and if anyone would like to trade (I know, off topic, somewhat) for the Perettis; W, 333, 7485 & 1072 contact me off list.
