The label on the Brooks Brothers 346 jar shown in the image below states, "Factory No. 45 Dist. of Va." Factory 45 in Virginia was a Larus & Brother Company facility. Larus & Brother Company was the manufacturer of Edgeworth pipe-tobacco, both sliced and ready-rubbed, so I believe that they were contracted by Brooks Brothers to private-label that tobacco (probably the ready-rubbed version) for them.
