Broken Pipe Keith Fry

I received the sad news that well known Pipe Collector Keith Fry Passed away.
Keith was a longtime Wisconsin collector who was active in the hobby and a pipe show regular. The last time I visited with Keith was in Chicago a couple of years ago where he told me stories of his pipe travels including a couple of visits to Cantu. We shared some yuks about driving our wives crazy when we would do our pipe thing on vacations.

I am very proud to have several very special pipes I got from Keith's collection over the years. RIP

Interesting guy. He apparently did a good job with his career in the visual arts, building on his degree in the subject, while maintaining a family and household with his day jobs in insurance. That's the way most art and literature is accomplished. 'Wish he'd had many more years, but he did well.
