I bought my first modern era Brigham a few months ago and absolutely love the pipes. Since, I've picked up 7 more (mostly estates from eBay.)
My latest acquisition came in the mail today. It's an unsmoked, patent era, one dot, bent Dublin-- stamped Brigham, with the long tail M, and CAN PAT 372982.
I've already given it a light cleaning (who knows how many hands have touched this thing over the last 67+ years,) and am smoking it now. Wonderful smoker.
My questions are:
1. I can't find a shape number stamped on the pipe. Was this common?
2. Does anyone know what Brigham called this finish? It's a waxed, natural (or very light colored stain) finish?
Thanks for any info you can provide.
