Found one tobacco shop downtown Chania, Crete. I was looking for a straight pipe, turned out the straight pipe was the cheapest one. I asked and was told it is made out of Briar, but how can I know for sure ? It is definitely light weight, much lighter than my cheapo next door back in the States over the counter laying around pipes (which I suspect are made out of pear wood or something else, pretty lousy quality).
I researched online, no info. I tried the pipe identification page, but they don't list this one among the pipes that come with one dot on the mouth piece.

It's a nice looking pipe for your first. It makes sense to be a Stefanou, they are made in Greece. The marking matches as well, the Dunhill looking white dot: http://stefanou-pipex.gr/el/pipes/%CE%BB%CE%B5%CE%B9%CE%BF-%CF%83%CE%BA%CE%BF%CF%85%CF%81%CE%BF/
Check them out here, the site in in Greek (language and alfabet) but google can translate.

Hi! Not sure if you will get this, but where is that pipe shop you found? I go through Chania occasionally, and I would love to find a pipe and tobacco shop. Thank you!
