Boswell's Military Force

Before Ashdigger baccy bombed me I recently went to Boswell's in Chambersburg and took a shot on a ?new? blend.... Military Force. Anyone try this yet?! I like it immensely. It is an English with Latakia but it is mellow, sweet, cool, and just an amazing blend. I'm not up to the challenge of dissecting the blend components, but I really like it! Perhaps another member can chime in if they have had it. I was really impressed and will definitely be getting more of it when I go back.

I have yet to jump in to the Boswell's English blends but I think a lot of their aeros.

One that I have been enjoying is Bear Blend. It has a bit of Lat but I consider it aero.

This is the first I have heard of this blend but will put it on my list along with Northwoods (I think). Thanks for the heads up!

I haven't yet tried Bear Blend but I'll do so shortly. Have you tried Boswell's Best? As aromatics go it's pretty good. I really like it. Northwoods is also killer! If you try it let me know how you like it!

Just got myself an assortment of Boswell's in to try. Love their pipe work and have heard good things about their aros. This one found its way in the mix so looking forward to trying after your review

I hope not. That would really give them some ammo against tobacco. Kind of ruins the whole let me ruin my own body how I want angle. Once someone starts giving other people cancers and stuff.

A mellow, sweet, and cool English sounds like a good blend. I tend to like them pretty strong, but some understatement with nuance can really draw me in.

I ordered Military Force (and a few other Boswell blends) just out of curiosity after seeing this thread. I like it. It is on the mellow side for my taste, but there is some complexity to it. It does finish on the sweet side, but pleasantly so...

OK. Northwoods even better. Boswell description, "Full bodied and full flavor - a deeply complex English, but with a smooth and mild base of Latakia along with Toasted Virginias'. I guess it was blended by J.M. personally. This is going into my regular rotation.

Northwoods is tremendous. I'm glad you like the Boswell's blends
