EDIT: Fixed Capitalization in Title (See Rule 9) - Bob

Hey gang,

So the question is in the title, do pipes with a very light "blond" stain darken with use/age? I just received a beautiful Clark Layton pipe, and am just curious if its color will change over time or not.

If it's unstained, it's what some makers refer to as "Virgin Briar" and should darken up nicely. If it's sealed and finished with a light stain I wouldn't expect to see much, if any, change.
