I have just ordered Five Brothers burley, but it hasn't arrived yet. I want to try some other blending burleys. I saw a few different cuts at 4noggins but I'm unsure of who the manufacturer is...C&D perhaps? Anyway, if anyone has an recommendation of good blending burley, I would like to know!

I'd go for bulk burley from C&D, of which there are several. They are the master burley blenders and their single-leaf or all-burley blends are probably some of the best around. There are other options, quite a few, but why not go to the high church of burley?

Paul, you might want to contact member Deathmetal as he does a lot of blending with various leaves so should be able to point you in the right direction.
Regards,
Jay.

Thanks for the mention, Jay. Short of time to be here of late, but I check in when I can, and this is a favorite topic.
C&D is sort of the home of Burley as something other than a codger blend. I would acquire their Dark Burley and White Burley to start:

https://www.smokingpipes.com/pipe-tobacco/cornell-diehl/White-Burley/product_id/79411/bulk
I mix these 3:1 dark:light and use them with others. It's similar to this:

Then, there is a great pre-prepared blend of theirs:

If you want a nice easy mix, throw this in with something.
I'd also consider some of their flakes:

Some other tasty-looking Burleys:

https://www.smokingpipes.com/pipe-tobacco/mcclelland/X30---Pressed-Burley/product_id/3989/bulk
Some swear by this as a codger blend that mixes well with other tobaccos:

This is also a great dark-fired (smoke-cured) Burley for giving your blends some richness:

For daily smoking, I can recommend taking that 3:1 Burley mix I mentioned above, and adding it five parts to one of Perique and two of Bright Virginia. Tasty, medium plus a little bit of strength, mellows well.

Peter Stokkebye's #702, D&R TwoTimer, C&D cube cut, C&D Dark Burley, and by all means, C&D Big 'n Burley.
