Thanks Ogre, cmdrmcbragg (nice to see you back btw) and NOLA Cajun -- It is a lovely collection to work through, and learn about. I'm enjoying the connection to the carver that comes from working on a passel of pipes this big. I've been emailing back and forth with Mr. Blatter as well, which has really been interesting.

Their Sélect line is really a good deal for the money asked, that's for sure. Hand made the old way with truly an artisanal approach. And they only select very nice briar plateaux for this line.

I have 3 Blatters, a Poker, a Canadian and (my very first pipe) a basket Billiard, and all 3 are wonderful smokers.
Fine bunch of folks work there.

That's a real nice batch of pipes there Pat. I can see how picking only two for yourself will not be easy. Looking forward to seeing them when they're done. I'd love to take one or two of them off your hands when there done so I'll be keeping an eye out for them. ::

Wow that's awesome.

I'm smoking pipe since a year now (may 4th is my birthday and my wonderful wife buy me pipe last year) and I've been to B&B 2 times to watch their pipe and buy tobacco. Sometimes I bid on B&B pipes on eBay but never win any!

Let me know when you will sell some of them! Are you living near MTL?
