Most probably already are aware of this but smoking pipes now sells black frigate in 8oz. Tins at a reduced price. I bought 5 and left them with one in stock cause I'm nice.

BTW, in the early 2000's, you could order BF straight from C&D, prior to Laudisi's ownership, in one pound bricks like Pirate Kake.
Good deal on those 8 oz. tins. I am tempted, but probably too late. I smoke soooo slowly, and relative to my slowness, have so many unopened tins, it seems misguided to order more. But I sometimes do. Still nibbling at tins of Fire Storm and McB's Latakia flake, and so much more. Many unopened tins are, I hope, aging nicely.
Interesting tins chasing embers. I'll see if I can get that book. Would be fun while smoking. My goal is to match your cellar and I'm half way there. Fear nothing even a mutiny on your ship would get those collector tins in my possession.
The metal tins were discontinued years ago. Come in standard plastic lid tins now. It's more of a Navy blend with Latakia, but I suppose it could be called an English.
