The stem was lucky it only had a little ding at the lip, which I heated out. Now the unlucky guy in this was Hercules on stem. When I went to buff the pipe it took the little white guy right off.
Gone, but not forgotten. 1658932723605.jpegI also was able to take care of the flaw in the stain over the nomenclature.

I like a happy ending. If there's any trace, it gives the pipe character and will remind you of this successful repair.

In the semi-rural NorthEastern USA
One really important life lesson is chicks dig scars and why because they're cool and they have a story and that story is this person has lived a little. I think the same applies to pipes. Just my opinion but it's right.
Still nice restoration so kind of cancels out my point, but I will mostly ignore that.
