I would've imagined a Nording duck would be your ideal pipe. The chamber is like a thimble.

This is a whole side of Mr. Nording I've never suspected. I'd have guessed that pipe was made before Erik ever got into the pipe business, though that was some time ago. I happen to be smoking one of his zebra hunting pipes, a Christmas gift a few years ago from my wife. I have several Nordings, all good. They all have capacious chambers.

It cleaned up nice. I don't see myself smoking it as the mouthpiece isn't comfortable and this is more of a holder instead of a clincher. Very beautiful and unique pipe though.

That cleaned up really nicely! Why did the person give it to you? Was it antique from a relative who passed away? Just curious.

Buddy of mine who was cleaning out a trashed apartment and they left a bunch of stuff . He knew I was a pipe smoker so he gifted it to me.

That's really cool. Seems like it'll be more and more rare that pipes are found in people's estates.

It's been pretty windy here lately on my morning smokes to work. Almost temped to smoke this pipe and see how much the wind cap helps. It's just the bit on the thing is so awkward and uncomfortable ? would have been nice if they would have given it a mouth more like Donald duck. something to clinch. I guess they don't make a Disney version of this pipe? LOL
