Bird shaped Nording pipe

Recently acquired this funny like guy. It's a Nording ________ . Anyone that can help me fill in the blank would be very helpful. I'm working on cleaning it up. Is very dirty. Maybe the sight glasses in the pipe are a chamber to collect moisture? Not sure it would smoke that great but for display it's pretty neat.

Doesn't come in contact with the airway, it's just a solid cylinder of acrylic that is slid into the briar before carving.

And so can you for only $299.98 ?

In 2019, Pipes on Rattan got in 50 of them NOS and was selling them for $60. My wife got mine for my birthday.



Too small to be anything more than a look at though.

Whatever you do, don't try to take the stem off, those things are permanently set. I can't remember who but someone here broke theirs attempting it.

I had no idea it was a duck I was thinking the mouthpiece end was the tail end of a bird and the head was the body shape of a bird. Never thought to flip the thing upside down and actually see what it was LOL

It cleaned up nice. I don't see myself smoking it as the mouthpiece isn't comfortable and this is more of a holder instead of a clincher. Very beautiful and unique pipe though.
