SP is far superior to all others in my experiences
SmokingPipes does seem to be by far the most popular and I have had nothing but good experiences with them the half a dozen times I've ordered pipes and tobaccos from them, but I've also had all good experiences with PipesAndCigars dot com for bulk and tinned tobacco purchases. I've been ordering tobacco from PipesAndCigars for about 4 or 5 years now, but I'd still recommend SmokingPipes the highest for pipe purchases; since with SmokingPipes you get to see the exact individual pipe you're ordering before buying it.

Not to be a broken record, but Smokingpipes, tobaccopipes, iwan Ries all do an excellent job. Corti in Lecco italy is also very good.
I would echo comments and say I've personally had great online experiences with smokingpipes.com, watch city cigar and tobaccopipes.com. Also cupojoes does well by people I've heard told. The tobacco community is a small lot.
Iwan Reis is one I would add because they will reserve a hard-to-find blend for you when it shows up, if it’s on your wishlist, while SPC will only send you an alert, generally after the blend has sold out.
I've been ordering from SP for a 2-3 years now and have never had any hiccups or anything other than great service. One of the things I really love about them is that you do get the pipe you are looking at on the site (except for common pipes like clays or MM pipes). But if you find a Sav, Peterson, Neerup, etc with a nice grain, that's the exact 1 they ship you. And what's better is the added small discounts they give you when you order consistently with them.
TobaccoPipes is also great with their service. I've been ordering from them for a little over a year now and usually receive my shipments within 3-5 days.
I can't comment on shops like Watch City or Country Squire, but I only hear good things about them. At some point I will be ordering from them because I want to try some of their house blends.
