Rich - I do understand your logic. You are trying to please everyone =) But I will say most people who visit pipe forums are the uber obsessed and therefore knew about your discount code. But you are trying to be fair so I cant really fault that either. At the end of the day, ur business, your decisions. All we can do is buy or not buy. Thanks for taking the time to explain.

While I understand Peck's Economics 101 point, I respect that Rich limits the orders so more people get to TRY a tobacco. Why buy 20 tins if you never tried it before??? Many new guys on the this (and other) site read about how coveted this tobacco is yet never get the opportunity to try it for themselves. Getting a shot at two will give them a chance to get some. Granted, after trying it you want 20 tins, but that's an argument for another day.
I don't think Rich has a problem selling out his stock of BCDF, even at 2 per order. Just sayin'

To add to what Yaz said, most customers will not simply buy 2 tins of the desired tobacco but other products as well. Rich sells out of the desired tobacco in a short time anyway and also sells other products that might have been purchased elsewhere. A few customers may be frustrated by the limit but many more are pleased. Good merchandising.

I bought my first tin of BCDF from a member here for a VERY reasonable price (with a year or two's age on it) before i bought any sort of bulk of the stuff. I still don't think it's the cat's meow. It is a good blend for sure, but not worth all the hooplah. The five tins i bought a few months ago will last me ages, as i have not even put a dent in the first one. Maybe it will grow on me like stonehaven has, but until then i will just sit back and amuse myself at the mad scramble to attain this blend that is so coveted by many here and elsewhere.
Back to the point though, that is the beauty of being a part of such a wonderful online resource such as this forum. You can usually find someone who is willing to sell or give you a sample or tin of a tobacco you want to try. Bottom line, you guys are awesome and the generosity and comraderie on here is unmatched anywhere else. Cheers!

@mrjerke - many thanks for the heads-up; I got myself a tin of BCDF! Only one as that's all they would sell me, but it's a start and will give me the chance to taste the blend for myself.
Without realising it and relevant to other comments above, I also bought 2 tins of Orlik Golden Sliced and 2oz of GLP Haddo's Delight as they're both my hit list and I thought "I'm here - why not?". On top of that, I wouldn't normally shop at ThePipeGuys, so they've done alright out of making that one tin available for me. Living in the UK makes it extremely unlikely that I will ever be able to stockpile tobacco, so I enjoy what I can get; for the moment I'm a very happy man!

LOL Rich! I don't care - I'm satisfied with my first bite. You never know; there's an infinitesimal chance I might not like it! And don't worry - I'm not sharing the love. My 4 Noggins order will be in next month, as always. Got loads to try yet and some staples to stock up on.
