Askwith Commissioned Pipe.

This is the first pipe I have ever commissioned, from Chris Askwith of Askwith Pipes. It was inspired by one I saw on his website and it has a briar stem with wonderful birds eye and lovely straight grain on the stem. Chris was a pleasure to deal with and it only took him a couple of weeks to produce the pipe. This morning I loaded it with Dunhill Three Year Matured and it smokes like a dream.

The tenon is made of another material - it looks like a very strong, black plastic - very secure.
