Time to beef up your staff, Peck! I know times are tough for getting top notch butlers and footmen (even "Down Town" Abbey has cut way back), but surely a good Pipe and Cigar Master can be had if you pay them in Yankee dollars, or local bucks of the animal kind. [Ducking and scooting]

Is that volcano by John Tatum something a client would be able to expect to order, or taking nothing away from the artists skill and planning, is this an example of all of that and the stars aligning? The price would have to be deafening. What a piece. Hats off to Mr.Tatum. :worship:
I love old pipes, if the stems are wider and thin I am in. Like has already been stated, I do not like having to clean off the green stuff though. I think it must be my ph but on some of them I can hear it growing in the dark.

peck, I just trained a new person to clean my pipes and she has a nice ass to boot. My two sons moved out so it took me some time to recruit a new pipe bitch. I am shocked you have not trained your wife.
I do agree with peck in that many of the older British pipes have high sulpher content in their vulcanite which can make the pipe turn after just one smoke. I have an older Upshall that does that. I have a Lane Era Charatan which won't turn nearly as quickly, go figure.
