I just stumbled upon a bourbon that I don't think I've heard of before. Penny Packer straight bourbon, 40% abv and allegedly at least four years old.

It looks rather anaemic compared to all others I'm familiar with so wondered if it was worth lashing out £25 on just to try it out.

Thoughts anyone?

Regards,

Jay.?

I’ve never had it, but it’s got a reputation of being a mixer rather than something to sit around sipping. Considering that you have to suffer your exorbitant upcharges, I’d pass and put that money towards a more reputable bourbon. Just my two cents.
FWIW, I think that’s a $20 bottle here, and you’d be paying around $31.
