Yes, it is, also known as a Pickwick. I have two in this shape.

This is mine. Has anyone seen the same shape in a higher than belvedere grade?

No shape stamp? It looks like an 80s but the swooping rim sides are intriguing

That peterson is a natural finish, so its high grade. The main issue in identity is the stem. If that is the factory peterson stem, its a true 80s because it has the saddle stem. I have perused ebay much this month looking at old petersons, and that style I think was discontinued in 1990.

I just have my first, army filter 80s from peterson. At first I was scared the shape would be odd but its very natural in hand.

And for some reason it hangs from the mouth better then my peterson system standard 303 does.

Such a nice pipe, I am waiting for a really interesting chacom to arrive. I have a feeling it’s a very old pipe, since I haven’t seen one with a “ccc” logo before. As soon as it it arrives I will post some photos.
