I just got a PM from a "forum member" I wont publish the name here but happy to in a PM to a moderator.
Its obviously a scam from someone claiming to be an orphan with a great investment opportunity...LOL

Well what's odd is that it said they were a "member" not "new member" but just plain old "member". Thought it took time to reach that status.

Odd. Sounds foreign; using the orphan angle in a short con has been out of vogue here for decades.

Oh yeah, I remember the time I had a rich uncle in Nigeria die and he left me a whole bunch of money, but the only way I could get it was to send his lawyer about $1,000 for his fee. So sad, but I don't even remember that side of the family.

Oh yeah. It's strange enough getting stuff like that in an email, little on in a forum like this? That's just weird to pick a place like this to phish or spam messages.

But she promised me her father's rare Dunhill corn cob pipe with a real amber stem. She says it is even signed by Al Dunhill!!! She even hinted at similar pipe by Al's twin brother Fred!
