I'm not a science fiction nut, but I do enjoy some of it. Particularly stuff that could possibly take place in the near future. This show was interesting in that it was part future fiction, and part documentary. The fictional part takes place in 2033 with the launch of the first manned mission to Mars. The factual part (at least I assume it to be factual) takes place in current time. Pretty well thought out show with the current time bits showing how the folks at SpaceX with Elon Musk, and other concerns are planning and manufacturing the stuff they think it will take to pull it off. I'm not sure I can buy all the fictional stuff, but I guess they based it on what they think it will be like. Fun stuff anyway!

Kinda forgot about it. Had been excited to watch because Musk fascinates me, and I had read that Nick Cave was put in charge of the soundtrack. I'll have to catch a rerun and make sure not to miss next week's!

I'm on day 7 of an 8-day string of 12 hour shifts. I laid down on the couch, tuned in, and was asleep in five minutes. :( My wife had to wake me up to tell me it was bedtime!

I wanted to catch it but missed it. I'm hoping it will be on Hulu, or I may just download it.
EDIT: I just checked, and Hulu will have the full season of Mars after the last episode airs on TV. At this time Hulu does have the short film leading up to the series titled Before Mars. I'll be checking that out later.

I watched it. B- grade from me.

The documentary part was interesting but it was a rough segue between those parts and the fictional story line.

I was a little disappointed, but I'll give it another episode.
I'm hoping "The Expanse" is back soon, that was some very good space drama/Sci-Fi

Watched it & DVR'ing for the sons. Found it interesting with the facts interwoven between the fiction which is plausible enough to be believable.

The music was good, a little dramatic at times.
+1 The Expanse
