Based on our experience it seems that, while some cats can become lap cats, no cats like being held more than 30 seconds.

Oh trust me we have some that are babies. The one that likes being carried and held the most, Sir Digby a big black cat, is huge and looks like a panther.

That's cool, they are kind of rare! IIRC approximately 80% of orange tabby cats are male.
