I feel surrounded enough by dire warnings on the tins and pouches, but this could make a droll tobacco tray. In this world of irony about irony, sometimes its hard to tell what is being said. My local independent tobacco shop has a note in pencil on lined paper on the door noting that anyone entering might encounter tobacco smoke, charming because it means everything and only what it says. The note has been there since it opened in the (maybe) 1980's. The whole shop is that way: old time mechanical cash register, hardware scale, dartboard on the wall, hand built walk-in humidor, and wide plank floors -- Pipes by George, Hillsborough St., Raleigh.
