Well I just could not resist this fellow on Oi Vay. The amber stem is as sound as a pound with no damage to the threads. The case is in excellent shape and once again for the second week in a row we do not have silver band repairs to the pipes stem or other late Victorian bodge repairs. The pipe is free of blockages and surprisingly well cared for during the last 100 odd years of its life and it smokes like a dream. The pipe is 5 and a bit inches long with excellent coloring and only set me back a modest $75 so I thought it was something of a bargain. As I get rid of odd billiards and other unwanted styles through gifting I get to replace them with my favorite style and everyone is as happy as larry.

Would that be a Dublin Cutty? Reagrdless, it's beautiful. Congratulations.

Beautiful pipe. I've always been partial to the aromas of the briar, but after smoking a strawberry wood Becker, I think I'm going to have to try out a meer. I have a small dublin meer, but I just use it as a taster. I think I need something to actually smoke out of.

That's a beautiful pipe. Happy smokes :puffy:
