Lol Steve!
Phil,
Generally speaking when it is pouring rain, super cold or very windy you're most apt to find one of the 2 dozen cobs in my rotation hanging out of my face. I treat them well that aside from some old ones I'll eventually post I have had since new and one is now 7 y/o and going strong. My other pipes get smoked in more ideal situation since I smoke outdoors, in my SL500, if on a walkabout or when I can make a pipe meeting. Anyone who thinks a corn cob is a throw away pipe or isn't capable of delivering a fine smoke just hasn't either taken a little care in breaking one in and caring for it or is listening to others who are filling their heads with balderdash, keep it smokey.
