I would like to purchase my first American pipe. Would anyone be able to point me to a Pipe Maker representative of the United States?
I suggest that you take a look at the SmokingPipes and Blue Room Briars sites to see if any makers there that fit your tastes and price range.

There are also pipe makers among the members of the Forums

Have fun researching

The style and design of American pipe makers runs the gamut, taking inspiration from every corner of the pipe smoking world.

Do you have any particular preferences when it comes to shape/style/finish?

For now I have no preference of shapes, I am just trying to learn about American pipe production which, at first glance, seems to me to be very large and diverse.

If an artisan pipe is a little out of your price range you can also look into Briar Works pipes. They are sold on SP. Scott Klein also has some pipes pipes that fall into a lower price point with his Scott’s Pipes line. All hand made but fitted with premade stems.

Check out Pipedia.org and go to Pipe Brands/Makers and look under United States. Lots of information and links. There's a lot of choices, some very good carvers in the US these days. Ryan Alden, Scottie Piersel, and Lee Von Erck are three whose pipes I own and like a lot. Lots of carvers on Instagram. Shake a bush and 10 carvers will fall out of it.

Some very interesting pipes, but I don't see any for sale!
Nice idea about the fishing pipes!

I will definitely contact them.

Thank you!
The best bet for Boswells from talking to locals is to go to their stores and pick them up from there. And even then they're a quality over quantity pipe maker. The thing though is never heard anything bad. And everyone I've met that has one does rant about them and say you need one make the pilgrimage.

^^^^^ This here. Good people. I think they do a "pipe drop" every Monday evening on their web site too. 7 or 8 pm? It'll probably say on the site. They go quickly.

For factory pipes I'd say hands down go with BriarWorks/Moonshine (though I’m not sure there’s another "factory" in the US). You could also consider a Kaywoodie but I don't have any experience with them.

Don't own any artisans but I’d love to eventually own a BST made by @sasquatch.
