Even jerks exhibit symptoms of wishful thinking ... and there are plenty of suckers out there biting.

You just don't want it as much as the guy that buys it does.

$152, no problem... $12.81 shipping to Canada? No way. 8O

Even if the idea was that it was a collectible and never to be taken from the packaging, this would be a raw deal if I saw one. I am truly a-maized at what pops up on ebay sometimes. That one must be a true uni-corn.

Tempted, but then I'd have to buy a Forever Stem for it, and those are expensive as heck.

I think you would be paying $5 for the pipe and $147 for the package. He can ask what he wants but I can't imagine anybody paying that much for a cob, old or not. I notice that the package has a bar code on it which says it's not even that old. As P. T. Barnum said, "There's a sucker born every minute."

Maybe his wife told him he had to sell it so the high price he figures he can keep it for a while longer
