Alright, Serious Question of The Day: Do You Add Anything to your Coffee?

If I make the coffee it's just sugar. If my daughter makes the coffee it's plenty of milk and sugar and half a bottle of Anti-acid.

Very seldom have I met a black coffee I didn't like, even truck stop swill. If I'm in the mood for a different flavor it's a dirty cha with two shots of coffee. Ok, that's the hipster trying to come out in me.

I'll expand on my answer. I drink Black Rifle Coffee's Blackbeard's Delight. Black. I start with whole bean and put it through a burr grinder, which then goes in a French Press. I add water just off the boil, then stir the bloom after 30 seconds, and steep for an addition 3 1/2 minutes. I then drop the plunger and enjoy an absolutely delicious cup of black coffee.

I used to drink it black but these days I like a bit of cream. On special occasions I like some Amarula in it. My Irish coffee is with Powers and Baileys. If I'm sick with a sore throat I add honey.

I recall a very nice coffee at a southern food restaurant that contained some chicory root.
