Interesting. I wonder if her replacement will still smoke a pipe, or if that was just written in because Parker smokes a pipe in real life.
On the SYFY channels new show Defiance, the leader of one of the main races (too lazy to look it up) smokes a pipe. So far no hate emails... But rest assured if there's a little more air time, they'll be cutting it out.

That's great. Love to see piping portrayed positively. I always point out to non-pipers that they don't know what they're missing. The next politician that smokes a pipe will get my vote. Regardless of his positions.
