Al Pascia- amazing tobacconist from Italy!

I just place my first order with Al Pascia, and I am seriously impressed. On Sunday evening, I ordered a pipe. On Tuesday at lunchtime it was on my doorstep. Impeccably wrapped for protection, and even done up with a bow! This is seriously impressive customer service, and I will definitely be back. I included a shot of the contents too- a smart little Il Duca billiard!

Yep, US customers get free Fed-Ex delivery. I had my pipe in just 36 hours, which is awesome from any vendor but to get that from Europe is mind boggling.

I paid for shipping and got stuck with the customs bill from Fedex. However they are first rate and would by from them again.

When purchasing, you do have to chose the correct shipping method for the US and avoiding VATS, I wasn't completely sure I'd done it correctly until I had my emailed bill a few minutes later. They do also send tracking, which I found to be super accurate.
When you get to the order screen for shipping, US customers want to chose this option:
By courier (FedEx - TAXFREE) outside EU

The items will be sent by courier (insured) to the address you enter.
Order amount from 1,00 to 600,00 Price: 10,00

Order amount over 601,00 Free of charge

I didn't have the same luck with Novelli.it. Bounced around from FedEx station to FedEx station with nobody claiming they could release it because of some garbage the "sender" required. I may give Al Pascia a shot next time.
