It is so true that people have to take care not to let the medical folks scare them to death. They're not always right, and they operate on the basis of averages, not taking account of individual differences. May the M.D. Andersen doc be wrong for another 24 years.
There are times when one can be relieved the Doctor is wrong. There's a reason Doctors label their business as a "Practice". God bless all our medical people but they're not always right.
