It rests on your chin. Haha that part really “stuck out” for me. What a crazy-straw stem shape, interesting idea though, I wonder if it’d leave an indent in your face after a while?

KBB did them in Kaywoodies and Yellow Boles. I think other mfrs did too, but could be wrong.
Weirdly shaped "specialty" stems still exist.

Old pipe ads are interesting especially if there is a good correlation with pipes you own
