I may have "enhanced" the rim profile with a torch but the patina is coming along nicely. I've been using this at work and truth be told I would be devastated if it broke or got lost. Kinda defeating the purpose of a work pipe but this cob has grown on me.

Anyways, let's see your work pipes!

Also, I just finished giving this cob a shot of pipe mud. Been working up the bottom of the chamber bit by bit, smoke by smoke. If push comes to shove I got some leftover briar bits to make a plug.

Cheers.

Here's a S. Bang billiard that was abused in a previous life, you can still see the misshaped rim from the burn but I've restored it to a solid workhorse smoker! (The original stem was still pretty decent so it wasn't a huge project).

I use this pipe when I'm at the office. The bowl is small and affords me a 15 to 20 minute smoke. Perfect for after lunch.20210427_102032.jpgThese pipes were seven day seconds I got years ago. I use these doing yard work or working on cars. A lot of abuse on these. 20210525_152641.jpgI take care of these pipes the same as I do my best pipes. They are work horses and deserve no less.
