In certain cases it has been shown that a certain type of AI understands it is AI. At least as of now it's a simple relationship.

The quality of mathematics and writing have been steadily deteriorating since 1988. Less people understand math enough to be able to quickly find the circumference of a circle without one of them fancy calculators, and just reading books since 88... and especially the shit that fills bookstores now. If we don't get some Artificial Intelligence in here soon, our Organic Ignorance will doom us to a life of beating each other over the heads with clubs. And, everyone knows that it is much better to die by mathematically superior nuclear blasts than just being bashed in the head with dumb objects.
