A recent arrival - Peterson Sport Billiard
Over the years Peterson has had a series of (shorter) nosewarmers
Called variously "Sport, Outdoor, and their current iteration, the "Short" series
Full-sized bowls with shortened stems/shanks.

Here it is pictured with my smallest Lovat, an Orlik Prince Regent.
At 11.5cm it is marginally shorter than the Orlik.
With its shortened P-lipped stem it looks rather Lovat-ish

I love the outdoor series (though I don't own any pipes from that line). They remind me of the old BBBs or Barlings in their length and banded shank. The only thing they need is a hard case to complete the look.

There is something about a pipe in a hard case.
It's a pity that the only new pipes that come in cases these days are Turkish meers.

Agreed. I've been trying to research how to make hard cases but I haven't found much information.

maybe ask the meer makers. They might be able to send you in the right direction. And it never hurts to shot out a quick e-mail, just be polite.
