Just getting over a week-long sinus infection and decided to do a little maintenance. I had these two in a box, likely due to their similarities. A 1920 Dunhill Pat MARCH 9-15 Bruyere 35 and it's identical twin circa 1925 Civic Special shape 3.

The Civic pipe actually has the appearance of being slightly more well shaped with a curved rim, the buttons are essentially identical. The Civic is also a little more orange, rather than the dark red/purple of the Dunhill Bruyere. It was also a whole lot cheaper 🙂!

Lovely looking Civic.
I’ve been perplexed at the paucity of Civics. Considering it is a cornerstone brand of Cadogan one would expect to come across them as frequently as a BBB or a Comoy.
I have 1 civic, and it looks/smokes fantastic. I keep my eye out for them
