I picked these up from Nathan at the Capital land pipe show earlier this month. A billiard and a chimney, and they’re even sequentially numbered, 24 & 25 respectively. I think I may have got the only pocket billiard there and all the chimneys were pocket length. I’ve yet to smoke the chimney, but the billiard is working out great so far. Pretty solid, well made pipes. The bits are comfy and they are well balanced. I wear large gloves, for a size reference, and my index finger fits the down the bowl about halfway to the middle knuckle.

Also, Ive never had a chimney before, so any tips on packing and smoking would be great.

I have a couple of Savinellis with similar proportions with regard to the stack—for a chamber that tall, I’d gravity fill and adjust the density with the tamper after you light up (that would almost be my recommendation for any size chamber). I find it easier to relight at the halfway point if I stir the loose ash and tip/dump and firm up the remainder with the tamper.

Thanks for the tips. I wasn’t sure if it needing to be layered in a particular manner or some such to smoke properly. I’m gonna have to get some practice in on it before I take it out and about though. The chamber is a hair too narrow for my index finger to fit all the way down, so I’ll need a tamper regardless. I have a pretty serious tamping callus on my index finger, but not my pinky lol.
