We saw it at a theater last night.
Delightful!
Apparently Paramount threw a fit because it was filmed in Rome against the studio's wishes so it was filmed in B&W instead of color.
It's a good thing Rome looks great in B&W!

Hepburn and Peck are great in the movie - but even when I first saw it many moons ago, and more so today, he was at the time in real terms and seemed on camera just a tad too old for her, so that part of it always bugs me a tiny bit. Those leading men never aged, lol, and it's not like he was an old man at the time by any means.

I agree with this observation. It has come to seem ickier over the years. Gigi, another great Audrey Hepburn movie, is even ickier, especially when Maurice Chevalier sings, "Thaunk 'eaven for leetle girls."
