This pipe was commissioned by a pipe company in Madrid Spain to be made in China and shipped to a hundred miles East of Bug Tussle.

My total cost was $65.

My city and state got $5.

The shipping for two postal services and customs inspections was $10.

My patriotic contribution to America’s trade war was $15.

That leaves $35 for a Spaniard to hire a Chinese artisan to hand make this magnificent pipe.

I had to beg off going to the last Cahow Reunion at Pomme De Terre dam site near Carson’s Corners because my wife was sick but she’s a lot better now she’s had her third series of nerve ablations.

My GL Pease The Virginia Cream I bought from Professor Dr. Wayne Davis at Jon’s Pipe Shop in The District near The Columns in Columbia Missouri is a spicy aromatic some old gray haired bard and retired lawyer ought to have on a park bench for all my little relatives of Ma Agee almost without number to see at the next Cahow Reunion, you know?

America is a great nation but American briar sucks, it’s bad, not worth a damn.

We only used it during World War Two to liberate Europe and Asia and save the world for freedom.

I’m practicing Teardrops Falling in the Snow by Wilma Lee Cooper, who was a shirtail relative of the Cahows, exactly the relationship I’m not certain.

At the Cahow Family Reunions you must sing over the noise of the crowd, no microphones.

Teardrops Falling in the Snow

Full Two Lung Hillbilly Style

And my pretty little cousins can flat out bellow Daisy Mae’s 1948 version of

Sweeter Than the Flowers

Those of us the Master has blessed need to pass our good fortunes and traditions on, you know?

And I’m not like Brian Levine, I keep all my little cans of tobacco open.

I want every little kid that picks up my can of The Virginia Cream to get the full lecture.

Dang, I thought this would be a thread about George RR Martin!
He's my favorite large author currently.

But that's also a good looking pipe. Considering the exceptional quality of the current Chinese knives available, they seem to be putting out some great briar pipes too.

Actually it’s about as orange as a Lorenzo.
