These came from fleaBay - poor photos, and even worse description - the kind of listing I absolutely love ;-)
They are all near perfect, with just the slightest hint of char on the Barling in a small spot. The stems do not have the slightest hint of a tooth mark.

After a very quick rub with a soapy sponge, and poke about with the Opinel.

The stems are soaking in Oxyclean.

Hello.
Thank you for finding the old Comoy's that I had lost,

I'm ever so thankful that you've volunteered to return it to me,

and I greatly appreciate it.
Although I can offer no financial reward,

you should be content with just doing the right thing.
You know what the right thing to do is,

right?
:P
Damn!
That amber stemm'd Comoy has really knocked my socks off!
Too bad it's an ugly smooth pipe,

it'd look so good if it was blasted.

These old ratty pipes are just piling up on yer premises and contributing to a cluttered junky setting,

it would be in your best interest to liquidate before it all gets out of hand.
I'm only trying to help!

:D
Seriously,

major congrats bro,

stellar pick-ups of stunning quality.

Thrilling,

no doubt.
Thanks for sharing!
Happy smokes!

:puffy:

Can't wait to see the "after" pics on these. Those billiards are classics.

Thanks for the kinds words, fellas - I appreciate 'em.
These were a stroke of luck, and some fervent prayers that no-one else would notice 'em. They were listed as, "VINTAGE JOB LOT PIPES SHERLOCK HOLMES VICTORIAN PIXIE TAMPER WITH SILVER 99P STA "
There were 6 pipes in the lot, including a lovely Churchwarden, and an 'up-side-down' pipe, a silver tamper and a gorgeous leather cigar case. But, it was the Comoy that really grabbed my attention. So, given the 8 items, the three pipes above worked out at less than £9 each - wahoo!! They were listed on eBay UK, but with worldwide shipping, so not sure if they'd show on eBay.com - should do - but, if not, it's all the better for me ;-)
The Comoys is a small pipe, the Barling a bit smaller, and the Calabash is huge. They're cleaning up nicely .

Yeah, worldwide shipping would make it show in all the eBays. You just had a sharper eye than the rest of us. Well done!
