Ok everyone throw out your favorite fall and winter blends. This is my favorite time of year to smoke a pipe and would love to get some new blends in the rotation this year.
Ditto.I generally smoke whatever, whenever. No seasonal preference change.
I have to ask… what’s your year round blend? We’re a rare breed on the forum.I definitely enjoy this time of year for outdoor pipe smoking, although I smoke the same blend year round. I have no seasonal preferences at this time.
My favorite fall/Christmas blends are the ones made by Kohlhase & Kopp and that includes Rattray's and Peterson. The only seasonal difference I have with tobacco are the special edition Christmas blends from Peterson et al. Normally the Peterson offering is pretty decent and i'm hoping they do a whisky or cognac version this year.
I've had quite a few over the years from Peterson, Gawith, GQ Tobaccos, Rattray's and John Aylesbury. My favourite out of the lot was the first one I tried which was the Peterson Holiday Season 2015. It was flavoured with wild berries & cognac and I've still got about 50g left as I've been going easy on it. By the time I realised I really liked it, it had sold out
Came in a lovely embossed tin as well.

Yeah, I wasn't a big fan of that one either. It had an apricot topping and is my least favourite of the Peterson Christmas blends I've tried, I still have about 50g left from my tin.My favorite fall/Christmas blends are the ones made by Kohlhase & Kopp and that includes Rattray's and Peterson.
Peterson's Holiday Season 2016 was made by STG and I found I didn't like it as much.
Yes we are, Sir Walter Raleigh for many years now.I have to ask… what’s your year round blend? We’re a rare breed on the forum.
