My favorite time of year too, and not just for pipe smoking.

Fall aro: Drew Estate Grand Central
Fall non-aro: Peterson University Flake

Winter English: John Bull Royal English
Winter non-English: MacBaren Golden Extra

Tough to narrow 'em down even to two each, but I did my best. I'd get into drink pairings for each, but that's a subject unto itself... ?

Tis my favorite time of year too. I’ll be smoking a lot of Skiff & Exotique Mixture. Engine 99 & Star of the East Flake will get a lot of play too.

I also like deep, fruity VaPers when it cools off, so Dunbar, St. James Flake, etc etc.

St Bruno & Condor do good year round so I still smoke these.

Oh, I can’t forget 1792 Flake, McConnell’s Latakia Flake, Sillem’s Commodore Flake & Revor Plug

Ah what the hell, I’ll throw in some 3P’s, Warrior Plug & Stonehaven in the mix as well.

The only seasonal difference I have with tobacco are the special edition Christmas blends from Peterson et al. Normally the Peterson offering is pretty decent and i'm hoping they do a whisky or cognac version this year.

I've had quite a few over the years from Peterson, Gawith, GQ Tobaccos, Rattray's and John Aylesbury. My favourite out of the lot was the first one I tried which was the Peterson Holiday Season 2015. It was flavoured with wild berries & cognac and I've still got about 50g left as I've been going easy on it. By the time I realised I really liked it, it had sold out :(

Came in a lovely embossed tin as well.

I'll smoke virginia and va/pers year round, and will smoke latakia blends in the cooler months. I'm admittedly a sucker for seasonal things, and I've got some Sleepy Hollow that I like to smoke each fall, and still have quite a few tins of Christmas Cheer set aside that I only smoke during the Thanksgiving and Christmas season.

My favorite fall/Christmas blends are the ones made by Kohlhase & Kopp and that includes Rattray's and Peterson.

Peterson's Holiday Season 2016 was made by STG and I found I didn't like it as much.

I just smoked some autumn evening the other day. Wife and kids all loved the smell. I have 2 C&D Christmas aros that I'll light up while trimming the tree and cooking Christmas dinner. I have a bowl of Christmas Cheer on Christmas eve and Day too. I've never really been a big aro fan, but there's just something about smelling up the house with something nice, that everyone around enjoys, especially around the holidays. Adds to the magic.

Yeah, I wasn't a big fan of that one either. It had an apricot topping and is my least favourite of the Peterson Christmas blends I've tried, I still have about 50g left from my tin.

Lats, Burleys and sweet aros in winter. Virginias, Dark Fired and fruity aros in summer. Blends always changing.
