As mentioned in a post on here about planning out your collection, I have a plan for mine. Collect, first and foremost, pipes from the best carvers in the US.
I saw this pipe online (am I allowed to give out pipe retailers info on this forum?) and really loved it, even though it's out of line with every other pipe in my collection. It's so unique, and yet not too crazy for my tastes. It's an Alex Florov, and while he is Russian-born, he's been carving in the US for quite a while now.
Something about this pipe, the way it sits, the curvacious lines, the little bit of ivory on the heel just speaks to me. Hope 2016 brings many more for us all! Happy smoking :)

I like that a lot. Love the accent work on the bottom and I'm always a sucker for contrast between smooth natural finish and darker sandblasting or rustication.
