Vegas Baby!!!
This is a 1914 H&F (William Sydney Hall & Edward Thurston Davies Trading as Hall & Fitzgerald

Here’s a tale of mixed emotions. I purchased this little meer full knowing the stem was repaired. I smoked it a few times and then because I’m a raging idiot sometimes, I dropped it in a high velocity, sudden stop manner. Important safety tip; don’t do that.

So I repaired it. No problem. The epoxy I use is excellent. I smoked it a few times.

I then decided to test Newton’s Law of Universal Gravitation……..for the second time……..?????

This time it all came undone. I carefully repaired it again and am currently smoking it. The pipe needs a little touching up and a small fill, but that’s another day.

My goal was to make it smokable and durable. Win Win on both ends. Unless I drop the damn thing again.

The picture is the eBay advert. The rest are mine.

This got me to thinking about how, in my 45 years of smoking, I've never dropped a pipe because I only smoke while sitting.

That's a cool little pipe. Looks like it's burned a LOT of tobacco in its day. Please, don't drop it anymore. ;)

That pipe may have self-destructive tendencies. Maybe it is to be worn on a lanyard around your neck. Some days there are few objects I don't drop, and when I'm not doing that, I'm knocking objects off the furniture just walking across the room. You on the other hand are honing your pipe repair skills, so kudos for that.

Lovely meerschaum, that style shows up as a clay pipe. I had one in meerschaum that I sold to someone on here about five or six years ago. Kudos to Tim for fixing the pipe.
