I wish Peterson would bring back the rounded heel, it looks so much better than the flat ones on their current pipes.

Given my preference for acrylic and AB stems and Peterson’s lack of Acrylic or AB stemmed system pipes I did what any self respecting pipe repairman would do, I made one. I also reamed out the sump to be a proper well.

So the systems that take a filter are just an open ended tenon, no condenser?

Fitting the adapters requires having the pipe in hand, the filter socket needs to be cleaned up and the well needs to be drilled deeper to accommodate the condenser. I'd be happy to make you one but you'd need to send me the pipe. Deluxe Systems are a little different, they sometimes have a very shallow filter socket that won't accommodate an adapter. I have trimmed the filter socket off of them and fitted them with traditional bone or aluminum condensers though. But once this is done they will not accept a filter any longer.Whoa, Rustie?!? You know, these Rua's make excellent "Christmas" pipes, with the beautiful red stain and silver accent.
I just gifted one of my best pals a beautiful 2s example for a Christmas present last night!
Got the pipe from another member here a couple weeks back.
We both have young families, and sat back with a whiskey and roasted a bowl after an amazing dinner with our families together, watching the kids and babies play. Wish I could slow down time for those moments!
Those are one of life's little moments to not take for granted brother!
