    Nasal and Ear issues

So over the past 6 months I have found that I am having issues with my beloved pipe tobacco. It seems that every time I partake in a bowl, I come down with sinus inflammation and minor ear congestion. Multiple bowls lead to my ears closing up for a few days... It is very odd. I can smoke any...

So with a blend like SG Navy Flake, do you smoke it in a lat pipe or one of your VA pipes? Do you worry about the Rum topping ghosting either one of the pipes?

New Estates...Darn You Ebay and Bill Me Later!

CURSE YOU BILL ME LATER! It keeps making my wallet shrink! Bored by the blowout of a game last night, I decide to cruise Ebay on my phone while attending a Superbowl party. I have been looking for another 60s or 70s Israeli Masterson to add to my collection. I find a decent looking lot...

    Alpha-Abrassives Stem Restorations

So I picked up some of these Alpha-Abrassives sanding/finishing pads for around 8 bucks, and I have to say they are a much cheaper and efficient means of shining a pipe stem to the Micro Mesh! It took around 45 minutes a stem not including the Simple Green bath. I could of spent more time on...

    Squadron Leader...What's The Big Deal?

So I have read a ton of reviews and have had Squadron Leader suggested to me by quite a few people, so I picked up a tin and I have to say that I am mildly disappointed... Sure it is really smooth and has a good tobacco flavor and burns well, but other than that I just found it very bland and...

    Pipe Cleaner Won't Fit

So on one of the estate pipes I just restored it has a replacement stem on it and a very narrow slit in the front of the mouth piece...I really like the pipe, only problem is no pipe cleaner will fit down that little slit! Even my tapered pipe cleaners! There is no blockage that I can see... I...

    Is It Cased?! Houseblend

So I bought a house-blend entitled "Squadron 8" and I have never tasted anything like it... So far I have only smoked English and Virgina blends and this is entirely different...I am wondering if it is an aromatic. It has a virgina like smell for sure. But I have noticed it is leaving my mouth...

HH Larry's Blend a Lat Bomb?

So my buddy who has been smoking pipes for a while brought over some H and H Larry's Blend. He told me that he was cautious of me trying it out because it is such a "Lat Bomb." Well I smoked it up and I have to say, it wasn't that strong to me at all. It did have a strong camp fire essence but...

    Help Me Choose! Newer Smoker

So I am moderately new to the pipe world, but have been a cigar enthusiast for years and can respect a full flavor, diverse tobacco. So far I have had Frog Morton's Cellar, which I found very tasty. Sam Gawith Virgina Full Flake which was really yummy too, but I think I smoked it a little...
