    [OT] Avant Garde Music Anyone?

This might sound awfully elitist and all that but I don't actually five a fu[s]ck. Why should I have to make excuses that I like odd music? I have no classical nor musical training. I was just dragged into a Stockhousen "concert" thirty years ago. My interest was sparked. Is this thing utter...

Briars Colour Too. Before and After Photos.

I don't photograph my pipes much, but if anyone's interested here's a couple of photos of the same pipe, first unsmoked on the day I got it, and after about two years of smoking. Probably four to six bowls per month. We all have seen how meers take colour nicely when smoked, but does anyone...

    '80s? Music? I wasn't all silly pop.

The Eighties is often thought as a decade of really poor and easily forgettable pop. There were some really great bands, however. The last of these three songs I listened to when I was driving a van that I didn't own, from Guerrero Mexico, to Chiapas. I was nineteen years old, didn't have drivers...

    Will Ferrell a Pipe Smoker?

Will Ferrell just did an AMA ("Ask Me Anything") on Reddit and posted this photo as a proof that it's really him: Apparently it's this older photo on the background: Actors use pipes often as props, but sometimes I wonder if they smoke a pipe privately, as well.

    I see pipes everywhere.

Earlier today, when leafing through eBay: "Hmm, two matching meerschaums in a travel case. Quite a modern design. I wonder who made them?" *click "Oh, OK. I see - not pipes": Jari

Warning: Fraudster on eBay Selling Counterfeit Eltangs, Possibly Castellos Etc.

The seller http://www.ebay.com/usr/benandci, sells pipes of dubious origin. A member on another forum noticed some iffy looking Castellos, and I thought the Eltang pipes he sold didn't look right either. I contacted Tom, and he just confirmed that the pipes are not his, but counterfeits. He...
