Looking for a Playboy Estate Pipe

I am on the hunt for a Playboy estate pipe smoked by none other than the "Hef" himself. IF you have one or know of anyone that has one, please let me know. I have thought a long time about owning a Dunhill, but would not feel the pipe itself, would be that much of a story. Now, if you were to...

    Burning Leaves

Do any of the "old Timers" out there remember an English blends smelling like burning leaves? It may have been a mix of Latakia and Burley, or Virginia. I was talking to my dad over a pipe recently and we were reminiscing about this blend he got up in Canton, OH. He thinks it was based on...

    McClelland vinegar stench

I love McClellands! I love Ketchup! I don't think they smell anything alike! My wife thinks a new tin smells like raisins. Doesn't matter which blend. Raisins. Could be 15 years old out of my cellar. Raisins. She's got a weird palette. If you want, send it to me and I test it for you, and then...

Peterson Irish Flake - Pipe Tobacco Review

This is definitely a stout little puppy. A nice meal before hand is highly recommended. You would also serve yourself well to read Bob's review. This is a heavy nicotine blend and not for the inexperienced smoker. It might turn you off to pipe tobacco by jumping into it a little bit too soon...

    Welcome new members. Introduce yourselves.

Hi, I took up the briar 15 yrs ago, smoked for several, till like 2000. Then I quit for 9 and am back into it. It was very nice to pull out my old pipes and some of my cellared tobacco. Enjoy the new entertaining stuf that's out there these day! Wonderful website too! Lots of good articles!
