    My first Rad Davis pipe!

I got this in a recent swap and it is quickly becoming one of my favorites! Excellent quality, awesome rustication, easy draw, great smoker! The Cumberland stem is kind of a nifty touch as well... :-) It is marked as follows: Rad Davis Hand Made USA 06

The Tinder Box Verona Corallo (Armellini?)

Thank you all for your replies, as a "returning" pipe smoker after a 25+ year hiatus (smoked a pipe during my Civil War reenacting days), I appreciate the information. And your pipe tuold is very attractive! Glad to know that mine (like yours) should smoke well for a long time... :-)

The Tinder Box Verona Corallo (Armellini?)

I recently swapped for this estate pipe and am wondering if anyone has any thoughts or information regarding if Mauro Armellini made the Verona pipes for The Tinder Box. Did he make many pipes for the Tinder Box? The markings are "THE TINDER BOX" "Verona" "CORALLO" "904" I know Tinder Box...

    Rich Lewis Armadillo

It smokes great and is one of my best smoking pipes, same as my other Lewis pipes. Rich also makes an excellent billiard, and I am lucky to have one of those as well... (Christmas gift from my wife) :-)

    Rich Lewis Armadillo

Rich Lewis hand carves and rusticates his Armadillo's, and does an excellent job with the staining and finishing IMO. He also hand cut the military bit. His drilling is spot on and it passes a pipe cleaner perfectly.

    Rich Lewis Armadillo

I was thrilled to recently snag this Rich Lewis Armadillo on eBay, and add it to my two other Rich Lewis pipes along with one of his son George's pipes. I also have the luxury of working in downtown Minneapolis so I can visit his shop "Lewis Pipe & Tobacco" in person. In addition to being one...

I recently swapped for my first Dunhill, and the markings are as follows: LBS F/T DUNHILL SHELL BRIAR MADE IN ENGLAND2 4(in a circle) S However, there is also SVS stamped by the stem (which I was told may be a replacement fishtail stem). Can anyone tell me what the "SVS" stamp means?

Estate Peterson Pipe - Captain Peterson???

Thanks docwatson! For a pipe that's probably as old as me (born in 1960) I will do just that, smoke it and enjoy it. Except for one fill on the right side, it is a nice looking briar and I like the color and straight bulldog shape. Also, it smokes great! It was swapped to me as...

Estate Peterson Pipe - Captain Peterson???

Thank you Teddy and shutterbug! So as a brand of Peterson's English branch, is it collectible? Considered a sub-brand or "second"? Should I just smoke it and enjoy it? :-)

Sterncrest LHS Sterling Silver Rhodium "Diamond T"?

Thanks papipeguy! The Sterncrest pipes I've seen before have the LHS insode the diamond, I've not seem one with the T inside the diamond. Any thoughts on what that represents?

Sterncrest LHS Sterling Silver Rhodium "Diamond T"?

I am looking at a vintage Sterncrest LHS Rhodium, the silver band does not have LHS in the diamond, rather, it has a T. Also, it does not have "Imported briar" stamped on the briar. Any idea as to its vintage?
