    Guitar Gear Opinion

Another pickup you might consider would be the Lollar Charlie Christian for a Tele bridge. Before I started making my own pickups, I had his pickups in both my Tele and Esquire and they were great. I never tried the Charlie Christian bridge pickup, but I still have his CC neck pickup in my Tele...

    The Codger Burleys- Music Project

Cool tunes, I like your sound and of course the name is clever  ! I'm a rockabilly/trad. country/bluegrass player so it's not a real far stretch from what I'm doing. Keep us posted with any new tunes.

Any Black Powder Shooters Out There?

Nice guns guys! I'm a black powder fan myself, of all my guns the one I enjoy shooting the most is my reproduction Colt (Pietta) 1860 Army. One of these days I'll add another BP revolver to the collection, maybe a Colt Dragoon or Walker model. I also have a CVA Kentucky pistol that I assembled...

Remember Meister Brau Beer in Chicago?

Badgercat, you bet Hamm's is still around! That and PBR are my go-to cheap beers when I just want to sit down with a no nonsense beer. Don't get me wrong, I love a good import or craft beer as much as anyone, but sometimes a classic is hard to beat! Same with tobacco for me, as I sit here with a...

    What'cha Up To?

I just finished testing out a set of electric guitar pickups that I made yesterday and I'm very happy with them! Now I'm sitting down enjoying a smoke and catching up on what's going on in internet land

    Bright swirled lucite stems

Walker Briar Works offers replacement stems for cobs in lots of different colors of swirled Lucite, so I'm sure they could make you any stems you wanted. I can highly recommend their work also.

    Show Off Your Cobs

Here's my newly repaired Country Gentleman, with its new lucite stem from Walker Briar Works. I had to put a hardwood plug in the bottom of the bowl and decided to treat it to a new stem while I was at it. Good to have this one back in the rotation and the stem was well worth it!

    Cobs.......

I enjoy my cobs too and just salvaged one of them today hopefully. A couple months back I noticed that the bottom of my Country Gent was getting soft so I stopped smoking it and set it aside. I got sick of seeing it out of commission on the shelf, so I put a hardwood plug in the bottom of it...

I Have a Hankering for a Good Apple Aro

There's an apple blend that my local store carries that I believe probably comes from Uhle's that has a nice flavor and smell. If you can track that down it's worth a try. I could also send you a sample if you wanted.

Your Top 5 Blends of All Time

Tough call, here are 5 that I've been enjoying a lot lately not in any particular order: 1. Frog Morton's Cellar 2. Haddo's Delight 3. Escudo 4. Nightcap 5. McClelland Easy Street There are a few more aromatics and VaPer's that could make the list, but they haven't been getting as much...

Thoughts on What to do Next? eBay Order

USPS tracking is notoriously worthless, so I wouldn't sweat it yet. I've had packages on my doorstep before tracking information was available online on some occasions, or things being delivered days after the expected delivery date.

Just lit up some Scotty's Butternut Burley in my Charatan Dublin/Skater pipe, with a cup of spiced Chai tea to go with it.
